General CPA Services

As a CPA, I provide tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, bookkeeping cleanup, financial reporting, and fractional CFO services. My goal is to help business owners stay compliant, make informed financial decisions, and improve profitability.

Yes. Most services can be provided virtually, allowing me to work with clients regardless of location. Meetings can be conducted by phone or zoom, and documents can be securely exchanged electronically.

The first step is a free consultation where we discuss your business, goals, and current challenges. From there, I’ll recommend the services that best fit your needs and provide a clear proposal outlining the scope of work and fees.

Yes. I work with a variety of businesses, including professional service firms, contractors, healthcare providers, real estate professionals, retailers, non-profits, and other small to mid-sized businesses.

Small Business Tax Preparation & Tax Planning

I prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. I also help clients identify deductions, maintain compliance, and reduce the stress that often comes with tax season.

Tax preparation focuses on accurately filing your tax returns. Tax planning is a proactive process that helps reduce tax liability through strategic decisions made throughout the year.

Tax planning can often identify opportunities to reduce taxes through deductions, credits, entity structure planning, retirement contributions, and other tax-saving strategies based on your specific situation.

The best time to start tax planning is before year-end, while there is still time to implement strategies that may reduce your tax liability. However, tax planning can provide value throughout the year.

The right entity structure depends on your income, growth plans, ownership structure, and tax objectives. I can help evaluate your options and determine which structure may be most beneficial.

Yes. I work with clients who need to catch up on prior-year tax filings and develop a plan to become compliant with federal and state tax requirements.

Yes. I assist clients with responding to IRS and state tax notices, resolving tax issues, and communicating with tax authorities when appropriate.

Tax preparation fees vary based on the type and complexity of your return, the number of forms required, and the quality of the records provided. After an initial consultation, I can provide a customized quote.

Bookkeeping Services & QuickBooks

Accurate bookkeeping provides the financial information needed to make informed business decisions, monitor cash flow, prepare tax returns, and understand profitability.

Services include monthly bookkeeping, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping cleanup, bookkeeping training, and ongoing maintenance of accounting records.  I can also customize your QuickBooks to fit your needs.

Yes. I am a Certified Elite QuickBooks ProAdvisor and go to Intuit Connect conference every year so I can stay on top of ongoing changes.  As an Advanced user, I have a lot of experience with cleaning up QuickBooks accounts.

Most businesses benefit from monthly bookkeeping services. (It is very important to review monthly as the bank feed can be compromised which can disrupt the flow of information for a given time.)  Businesses with higher transaction volumes or more complex operations may require more frequent updates.

Business owners should regularly review their profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, accounts receivable aging, and accounts payable aging reports.

Yes. I can review your existing accounting records, identify any issues that need attention, and help ensure a smooth transition.

Yes. I offer training for business owners and staff who want to better understand QuickBooks, bookkeeping processes, and financial reporting.

Bookkeeping fees vary depending on transaction volume, complexity, and the level of support required. Pricing is customized based on your business needs.  I have both hourly and monthly rates depending on complexity and scope.

Fractional CFO Services

A fractional CFO provides strategic financial leadership without the cost of hiring a full-time CFO. Services may include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, KPI development, and business strategy support.

Businesses often benefit from a fractional CFO when they experience rapid growth, cash flow challenges, declining profitability, financing needs, or increasing financial complexity.

The cost depends on the level of involvement, business size, and scope of services. Fractional CFO services are often more cost-effective than hiring a full-time CFO while still providing experienced financial leadership.

Yes. Cash flow forecasting, working capital management, budgeting, and financial analysis are often key components of a fractional CFO engagement.

Yes. Through financial analysis, pricing reviews, cost management strategies, and performance measurement, a fractional CFO can help identify opportunities to improve profitability.  Adding value to your organization is very important to me!

Yes. I can assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and other financial information commonly requested by banks and lenders.

Bookkeepers record financial transactions, accountants focus on financial reporting and tax compliance, and CFOs provide strategic financial guidance that helps business owners make informed decisions and plan for growth.

Pricing & Working Together

Many engagements can be structured using fixed monthly or project-based pricing. During our consultation, we’ll discuss the approach that best fits your needs.

Yes. Many clients choose a combination of services because it creates a more complete financial management solution and allows for better year-round planning.

Working with one trusted advisor for tax, bookkeeping, and financial strategy helps ensure all aspects of your financial picture are aligned. Rather than coordinating between multiple providers, you’ll have a single point of contact who understands your business, goals, and challenges. In addition, I’ve built a strong network of trusted professionals—including attorneys, bankers, financial advisors, insurance professionals, and business consultants—and can connect you with the right resources when needs arise. I believe in helping clients build a team of experts that supports their long-term success.

Contact me through the website, by phone, or by email to schedule an introductory conversation. We’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and determine how I can help.  You may also book a consultation using my Calendar link:  Calendly – Danielle Hinerman
